INSOLENCE 'PROJECT KONFLICT' coming this summer

Insolence will release full-length album titled “Project Konflict,” slated for release in November 3rd, 2010.

The full-length album features a heavier sound than recent releases by Insolence, returning to the band's more distinct, signature roots. “Project Konflict” is conceptualized around a political 1960's organization lead by Dr. Martin Luther King.

Recorded at Papa Roach studios in Sacramento, the album is being produced by Michael Rosen who has previously worked with artists including Rancid, AFI, Testament and Papa Roach, among many other notable musical acts.

PEELANDER-Z SIGNED TO POWERSLAVE RECORDS

PEELANDER-Z , the Japanese Action Comic Punk Band, has officially signed with Powerslave Records for Japan. The group was originally formed by Peelander-Yellow , Peelander-Blue, and Peelander-Red (claim they are from Z area in the Planet Peelander) in 1998, and came into action based in NYC. Peelander-Blue left the group after ten years, and welcomes Peelander-Green in August of 2008.

These three dress up in color-coordinated costumes as if they came out of Japanese Animation! Have you heard of live human bowling, wrestling and kung-fu action at punk rock shows? Peelander-Z knows how to entertain the audience by dragging them into the show. One experience would capture you!

Peelander-Z has been appearing not only in major music festivals like Bonnaroo Music Festival , CMJ and SXSW , but also on TV programs like Best Week Ever on VH1, Upright Citizens Brigade on Comedy Central and MXC : Most Extreme Challenge on Spike TV, and on Anime Network. They have played with many national bands, such as Buckethead, Electric Six, Particles, and more. Also they've performed at many other major Anime conventions and the festivals all over the US. REDOX SIGNED TO POWERSLAVE RECORDS

Melodic, punk-rock band, Redox, has signed with Powerslave Records. Based out of Switzerland, members include Matthias Kessler on vocals, Jean Burch on guitar and vocals, Lucas Peier on bass and vocals, and Sandro Bunter on drums.

Redox has built a great following due to their continuous live show bookings, some of which include, Openair St. Gallen, Openair Hochybrig, Volkshaus (Zurich), Abart (Zurich), Sedel (Lucerne), Treibhaus (Lucerne), Galvanik (Zug), Mystery (Schwyz), Rosengarten (Schwyz), and Beach Rock Party (Schwyz). The band even reached the finals of the band competition, "Battle of the Bands 2007,” where they performed on the stage of Zurich‘s famous Volkshaus and ranked fifth out of eight finalists.

In June of 2008, shortly after the release of "Cross The Line" in Switzerland, they were nominated "MX3 Band of the Week” by radio station, DRS Virus. Thanks to a supportive audience who were very much in their favor, they made it into the radio's daily program. In the early summer of 2008, they performed at Openair St. Gallen (St. Gallen) and at Openair Hoch-Ybrig (Schwyz). In early 2009, they ranked second at the "Kick Ass Award“ organized by Lucerne‘s local radio station, "Radio 3fach."

PEPPER JAPAN TOUR 2009

 

The U.S.' leading surf-rock act, PEPPER, is confirmed to embark on their first Japanese tour. PEPPER has released their first Japanese version album, "No Shame," produced by Nick Hexum (311), Tony Kanal (No Doubt),
and Paul Leary (Sublime), in 2008. The band has sold over 400,000 records, and their album "In With The World" reached #35 on the Billboard Heat Seeker Charts. Track "No Control" from "No Shame" climbed into the Top 20 of the BDS Modern Rock Charts. In 2007, Pepper headlined the entire Van's Warped Tour.

BELLE EPOQUE SIGNED TO POWERSLAVE RECORDS

Based out of Fort Worth, Texas, Belle Epoque, an epic, four-piece rock band has signed with Powerslave Records. Members include Kyle Istook on vocals, Aaron Anthony on guitar, Casey Brajevich on bass and vocals, and David Conley on drums.

With their brand new EP titled, “Wicked Ones and Thieves,” Belle Epoque has been heavily touring around the States, and shared the stage with notable artists such as Oh Sleeper, The Chariot, Gwen Stacy and more. COLD FORTY THREE TO BE INTRODUCED TO JAPAN

Chamberlain Records and Powerslave Records Team Up to Introduce Cold Forty Three to Japan

Powerslave Records and Chamberlain Records partnered up to present Los Angeles pop/punk band, Cold Forty Three, to Japan with the release of full-length album, “From the Garage to Your Speakers” on July 22, 2009.

In 2002, current members, Moses and Joshua, left their previous band to start a new project, and recruited Rene, of The Crooks, to complete their vision. The band has since performed with notable artists such as Audio Karate, Koopa, Kris Roe (The Ataris), Eve 6 and many more, building a strong fan following.

Hailing from Los Angeles, rock/pop/indie band, Eudora, has signed with Powerslave Records for Japan. The band's first full-length recording, “The Silent Years,” is scheduled to release July 8, 2009 in Japan. Eudora's first EP release in 2005, “…And It Rained Machines,” received great response from listeners, and built a sturdy following of fans, placing the band on the map of music. Another Damn Disappointment, a punk-influenced band from Sacramento, has officially signed with Powerslave Records for Japan. Members include Josh Thompson on vocals, Ross Standley on guitar, Aaron Welch on guitar, Casey Marsullo on bass and Carl Chang on drums.

Formed by Thompson and Marsullo back in 2001, the band has ridden a steady stream of success, playing with bands including Pennywise, Guttermouth, and more. In early 2004, Volcom Entertainment picked the band up for a deal to release their second full length album, "Hooligan,” which was recorded and produced by Darian Rundall (Strung Out, Bueno, Pennywise, Deviates, Yellowcard).

Later that year, Another Damn Disappointment joined the Vans Warped Tour with such great success, they were invited to join again for the 2005 Vans Warped Tour. Following the Warped tour, the band continued touring alongside Guttermouth to enthusiastic audiences everywhere.

Preparing to release their third full-length record containing two special bonus tracks, “Relentless,” in Japan on May 20, 2009, Another Damn Disappointment continues to please old and new fans alike, and just won't stop.

THE RESISTORS SIGNED TO
POWERSLAVE RECORDS

The Resistors, a rockin' band based in London, England, has officially signed with Powerslave Records for Japan. Members include Karl on vocals, Ed on guitar, Geoff on bass and Seb on drums.

The band was founded in 2006 by ex-members of successful British bands. Karl and Ed played in "Elviss" from 2002, and toured several times throughout the UK both headlining and supporting with acts such as Stonesour, The Murderdolls, The Vandals and many more.

They even headlined Kerrang's UK tour and were appointed the BBC Radio #1 Record of the Week. Elviss was signed to E.M.A.P. and Columbia Records before splitting in 2005. Just a short time after, the present members recruited each others' talents to create "The Resistors"--lucky for the world!

The Resistors will release full-length album, "Play in the Dirt,” including a special bonus track, in Japan on May 13, 2009 even before its home-town release that will follow after.
