FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FROM RAGS TO RICHES AND BACK TO RAGS, INSOLENCE IS SACRIFICING EVERYTHING TO REACH FOR THE STARS, AGAIN.
Hear how they rose above the industry in a struggle to survive, and are achieving the All-American Dream, the second time around.
San Jose , CA ( January 3, 2008 ) Insolence refused to be a one hit wonder. In fact, they also refused to change their music when Warner Brothers told them to. They rebelled against the music industry, stood strong, and are afloat enough to talk about it.
Aside from the battles with drugs, the ongoing changing of band members and constant family strains, as is expected to exist within any rock band, Insolence has never stopped, and has never been stopped.
They've helped shape the Bay Area's music scene. They've been on movie soundtracks and in movies. They've played around the world and back again.
They've toured with System of a Down and Incubus, enough said. They've had songs on video games and television shows.
They've beaten Linkin Park and Korn on Japan 's version of the Billboard Charts just this past summer. They've broken stereotypes, broken genres and broken rules. And they're back to conquer the industry again on U.S. soil.
Now, twelve years, two major labels, 200,000 sold records, and a bazillion band members later, Insolence is about to venture on a month-long, nationwide tour with Suburban Noize Records' Billboard Chart-ers, Hed P.E., Kingspade (of Kottonmouth Kings), and Subnoize Souljaz beginning January 24, 2008. Following their expansive U.S. tour celebrating the release of their seventh album, gAudio War,h on February 19, 2008, Insolence will venture off to Japan for a tour from March 9, 2008 to March 19, 2008 that will surely delight . Japanese fans who have had the luxury of having gAudio Warh since its special release in Japan in August, 2007.
Looking very forward to getting reacquainted with American and Japanese fans, Insolence is happy to tell their story to anyone who dares to ask. They will be available for interviews and press while on tour, from January 24, 2008 to February 25, 2008 in the United States , and from March 9, 2008 to March 19, 2008 in Japan .
Concert-goers can find tour dates and details on the band's website, www.insolence1.com and on their Myspace page, www.myspace.com/insolenceone.

ZEROMIND, FIRST BAND TO HAVE SOCIAL NETWORK SITE
Band's Official Website Is First of Its Kind - Starting an Internet-Savvy Trend in Rock
SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 6 -- San Francisco-based rock band, Zeromind, launched an all new social network website, www.zeromind.com, leading a new generation of band websites. No rock band in history has so far launched a website quite like this one.
Although the site appears much like MySpace, www.zeromind.com does have its advantages over the guru of all SNS sites. Instead of the 136- million-and-growing number of strangers belonging to MySpace, www.zeromind.com has a much more modest number of participants who all, guaranteed, have one big thing in common: Zeromind. The band's SNS site was developed to create a sense of family among fans, so they can comfortably interact with each other and the band, which so far, has kicked off with a bang.
The site is designed so that each member who joins creates a profile, and can post comments and blogs, send mail, invite friends and change pictures while sharing the commonality of being a Zeromind fan. Each profile lists information pertaining to the band itself, such as which Zeromind albums each fan owns, which live shows they have attended, and what type of merchandise they proudly parade. Fans can even engage in conversations with the Zeromind band members themselves, via the homepage bulletin board, which is active with comments.
Although the site is still enduring testing and improvements, it is a hit among fans, and could very well be the beginning of a new trend, as fans are able to communicate with bands more closely, and relate to fans in a fun and active way. This communication is not restricted to fans on U.S. soil - Zeromind's SNS site is actually bilingual. Since Zeromind's fanbase in Japan is so large, they opted to cater to their fans overseas - the official site's homepage allows for fans to enter a Japanese version of the site, where all text appears in Japanese characters.
The Zeromind members are all proud to call the first bilingual SNS site that belongs to a band their own. Eric Henderson, vocalist for Zeromind, says, "It has not been done before and we are fortunate to be able to bring it to our fans first."

Dave Schiffman Tech notes:
What do you like about Paramount ?
THE DRUM ROOM IS LIVE BUT VERY CONTROLLED. WE WERE ABLE TO GET A BIG
PUNCHY SOUND WITHOUT THE DRUMS GETING LOST IN THE ROOM
What was the Type and make of board?
WE MONITORED THROUGH AN SSL J SERIES BUT I USED ALL OLD NEVE MIC PRES
PLUGGED DIRECTLY INTO PROTOOLS. THE CONSOLE WAAS STRICTLY FOR PLAYBACK
The way you recorded the drums for the band was all new to them. What
type of microphones did you use and what did you utilize in the board
to get that great drum sound?
MY DRUM SET-UP IS PRETTY SRAIGHT AHEAD. A MIC ON THE FRONT OF THE BASS
DRUM (FET47) AND INSIDE(421) ON TOP OF THE SNARE(SM57) AND THE
BOTTOM(441). EACH TOM IS INVIDUALLY MIKED(421) AS WELL AS 2 SETS OF
OVERHEADS NEAR(67S) AND FAR(COLES) AND VARIOUS AMBIENCE MICS(DPA,U47)
AROUND THE ROOM. I TEND TO DO ALOT OF BLENDING OF MICS RATHER THAN GO
FOR THE EQ.
What Type and make of mic(s) were utilized for vocals?
ON CHRIS I USED AN SM-7 THOURGH A NEVE MIC PRE WITH A DISTRESSOR FOR
COMPRESSION AND ERIC AND LEO SANG ON A TUBE 47 THORUGH A NEVE MIC PRE
WITH AN 1176 FOR COMPRESSION AGAIN VERY LITTLE EQ USED ON EITHER
Any special set-up for recording guitars and bass.... unique mics or special tools used in the process?
AGAIN- PRETTY STRAIGHT FOREWARD- A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT MICS ON THE
CABINET (SM57. SENN 409) THORUGH NEVE MIC PRES AND A LITTLE COMPRESSION
WITH HEAVY SOUNDS THEY KIND OF COMPRESS THEMSELVES.
Any thoughts on the sound of the band.
VERY AGGRESSIVE BUT MELODIC AT THE SAME TIME THEY HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF
A HOOK AND CHORUS MELODIES.
Any new gadgets that would be interesting to gear heads out there?
NOTHING NEW. MICS, MIC PRES, COMPRESSORS THEY DON;T
MAKE THEM LIKE THEY USED TO. - LOL
